Ministry: Russia harvests 30.6 mln tns of grain as of Friday

MOSCOW, Jul 12 (PRIME) -- Russian farmers harvested 30.6 million tonnes of grain in bunker weight from 8.2 million hectares as of Friday after 25.4 million tonnes from 6.7 million hectares as of the same date last year, the Agriculture Ministry said in a statement.

The crop yield fell 1.1% on the year to 37.5 metric centners per hectare.

The Agriculture Ministry expects the Russian grain harvest to amount to 118 million tonnes in 2019.
